The Alexs’ Wedding: The Invitations

We did our invitations through Theoberry Stationery (click here to see their website). Annie (founder and creator of Theoberry) is my beautiful sister in law and as her gift for our wedding she offered her skills and talent.

I didn’t know exactly what I wanted from the invitations but I did know that I wanted it to flow from the ‘theme’ of the wedding, most importantly suit the venue and our style. I cut out some images from wedding magazines and provided these to Annie to help explain what we wanted.

These invitations are simplistic, yet eye catching; the doilies add depth and texture, the print is readable and straight to the point, and there is even a beautiful water colour map to help the guests find their way! Thank you Annie for designing our beautiful invitations.

Not long to go now until our beautiful day and I plan to post a few more chapters before our big day!
